The NHDP-1 gasoline and diesel engine particulate matter analyzer is a new type of automotive particulate concentration measuring instrument, also known as the second generation opacity meter (Second Gengeration Opacimeter), which is low compared to the traditional opacity meter. The concentration measurement has high sensitivity and signal-to-noise ratio (sensitivity is about 10~100 times that of opacimeter), and the range can be adjusted. The measurement method is simple and reliable. The principle of measurement is the principle of particle light scattering (Mie scattering theory), so the minimum diameter of particles can be measured to be about 200 nm. It is mainly used for low-emission measurement of the concentration of particulate matter in compression ignition diesel engines and direct injection gasoline engines.
